We would rather you never need this page — which is exactly why every course starts with a free trial lesson. But circumstances change, and when they do, this is how refunds work at Harbourline Learning Sdn. Bhd. This policy applies to all courses booked through petsmith.help, by phone or in person.
The seven-day cooling-off period
If you cancel within seven calendar days of payment and before attending your second paid lesson, you receive a full refund of everything paid, no questions asked. One attended lesson inside the cooling-off window does not reduce your refund — we treat it as an extended trial.
Withdrawing mid-term
After the cooling-off period, you may withdraw from a group course at any point up to the midpoint of the term. We refund the remaining whole weeks of tuition, less a RM100 administration fee. Past the midpoint of a term, fees are no longer refundable, because your seat in a six-person group cannot realistically be resold mid-course.
One-to-one session packs
Unused sessions in a one-to-one pack are refundable in full, minus the same RM100 administration fee, at any time within six months of purchase. Sessions already delivered, and sessions forfeited through late cancellation (see our Terms & Conditions), are not refundable.
Transfers instead of refunds
Two alternatives are always available and carry no administration fee:
- Transfer to a later intake — pause and rejoin the same course in a future term, once per enrolment.
- Transfer to another person — a family member or colleague may take over your remaining lessons, subject to a placement check to confirm the level fits.
If we cancel
Should we cancel a course before it begins — for example if an intake does not fill — you choose between a full refund (no fee deducted) or a transfer to another course with any price difference settled in your favour.
How refunds are paid
Request a refund by email to [email protected] or in person at the studio, stating your name and course. Approved refunds are paid by bank transfer to a Malaysian account within fourteen working days, or to the original card where the payment was made by card. We will confirm the amount in writing before processing.
